Frequently Asked Questions
Everything you need to know about our research peptides — reconstitution, storage, ordering, and more.
Products
We carry a curated selection of premium research peptides including:
- GLP-1 / Weight Management: Retatrutide, Tirzepatide, Semaglutide
- Healing & Regeneration: BPC-157
- Longevity & Cellular Health: NAD+, GHK-CU
These are all GLP-1 receptor agonist class peptides studied in the context of metabolic and weight-related research, but they work differently:
- Semaglutide — GLP-1 receptor agonist. The most studied in this class. Basis for Ozempic/Wegovy in pharmaceutical form.
- Tirzepatide — Dual GIP + GLP-1 agonist. Basis for Mounjaro/Zepbound. Targets two receptors for potentially stronger effect in research models.
- Retatrutide — Triple agonist (GIP + GLP-1 + Glucagon). The newest and most studied in early-stage trials. Shows significant promise in research settings.
BPC-157 (Body Protective Compound-157) is a synthetic pentadecapeptide derived from a protein found in human gastric juice. It is a popular subject in research contexts related to:
- Tissue and tendon healing
- Gut health and GI tract repair
- Inflammation modulation
- Bone and joint research
NAD+ (Nicotinamide Adenine Dinucleotide) is a coenzyme found in all living cells. Research focuses on its role in cellular energy production, DNA repair, and aging-related pathways. It is widely studied in the context of longevity and metabolic health.
GHK-CU (Copper Peptide) is a naturally occurring copper complex studied for its potential in tissue regeneration, anti-inflammatory effects, and skin repair. It appears in research related to wound healing, hair follicle stimulation, and cellular remodeling.

Reconstitution
Our peptides are shipped as lyophilized (freeze-dried) powder. This form is more stable during shipping and storage than liquid. Before use in a research setting, the powder must be dissolved in a suitable solvent — typically bacteriostatic water — to create a solution. This process is called reconstitution.
Use our Peptide Dosage Calculator to determine exact draw volumes once reconstituted.

Bacteriostatic water (BW) is the recommended solvent for most peptides. It contains 0.9% benzyl alcohol, which inhibits bacterial growth and extends the usable life of the reconstituted solution (typically 4–6 weeks refrigerated).
Sterile water can be used but has a much shorter shelf life once opened. Acetic acid (0.6%) is sometimes used for certain peptides that don't dissolve easily in water alone. When in doubt, bacteriostatic water is the safest default choice.

- Wash hands thoroughly and wear sterile gloves
- Allow both the peptide vial and bacteriostatic water to reach room temperature
- Clean the top of both vials with an alcohol swab
- Draw the desired amount of bacteriostatic water into a sterile syringe
- Tilt the peptide vial at a 45° angle
- Inject the water slowly down the inside wall of the vial — do not shoot it directly onto the powder
- Gently swirl (do not shake) until fully dissolved
- Store reconstituted solution in the refrigerator
Use our Peptide Dosage Calculator to determine how much BW to add and what unit mark to draw for each dose.
The amount of bacteriostatic water you add determines the concentration of your solution. More water = lower concentration per ml = larger draw volume per dose. Common reconstitution volumes are 1–3 ml per vial.
Use our Peptide Dosage Calculator — it calculates the exact unit mark to draw based on your vial size, water amount, and desired dose. There's no single "right" amount; it depends on your research protocol and syringe size.

For research use with reconstituted peptides, standard insulin syringes are commonly used — typically 0.3 ml (30u), 0.5 ml (50u), or 1.0 ml (100u) capacities. These offer fine measurement precision for small volumes.
Our Peptide Dosage Calculator supports all three syringe sizes and tells you exactly what unit mark to draw to.

Storage
Lyophilized (dry powder) peptides:
- Short-term (weeks): Room temperature is acceptable if kept away from heat and light
- Medium-term (months): Refrigerate at +4°C
- Long-term (6+ months): Freeze at -20°C or lower
Once reconstituted with bacteriostatic water:
- Refrigerated (+4°C): Generally stable for 4–6 weeks
- Frozen (-20°C): 3–4 months (freeze in aliquots to avoid repeated freeze-thaw cycles)
No. Because our peptides are shipped in lyophilized (freeze-dried) powder form, they are highly stable during transit and can withstand short-term temperature fluctuations without degradation. You do not need to worry about refrigeration during standard shipping windows.
Upon receipt, store as recommended above based on when you plan to use them.

Quality & Testing
We source our peptides exclusively from Star Nutrasciences, a trusted wholesale supplier with strict manufacturing standards. Every batch is independently verified before we make it available to customers.
Every product is third-party tested through Freedom Diagnostics Testing, an independent laboratory. We provide Certificates of Analysis (CoA) for all products so you can verify purity and identity independently.
We believe in radical transparency — you should never have to take our word for it. The CoA data speaks for itself.

Certificates of Analysis are available on each individual product page on our website. If you cannot locate a CoA for your specific product or batch, contact us at myfreedompeptides@gmail.com and we'll get it to you promptly.
We only carry peptides that meet a minimum 99%+ purity standard as verified by third-party HPLC and mass spectrometry testing. Purity details are listed on each product's CoA. If a batch doesn't meet our standards, we don't sell it.
